Please note that this thermostat is not suitable for lamp control. Constantly turning the lamp on and off would not only annoy your animals but would cause frequent lamp damage. This, in turn, is very likely to cause your thermostat to fail. For light-emitting heat sources use HabiStat Dimming Thermostats
