Compared to traditional activated carbon the number of micropores is larger resulting in a larger surface area. One gram of COCONUT CARBON has a surface area of about 1100m2. This structure ensures excellent adsorptive properties, useful for purifying water of the smallest molecules that affect colour and odour. It removes yellowing of the water caused by organic compounds making the aquarium crystal clear and clean.
