FILTER BRUSHES

Fruits for pond filters. As the pond water passes through a series of brushes, the bristles filter the suspensions to provide sufficient surface area where nitrifying bacteria can colonize and thrive. Cleaning the filter brushes is simple, they are removed from the filter and shaken out. Remember not to use tap water to rinse them, as this will kill the beneficial bacteria that grow on them.
