LEDDY TUBE units use advanced LED technology. As a result, they emit the same amount of light as regular fluorescent lamps while consuming half the energy, which is important for consumers concerned about the environment and power economy. An additional advantage of LED units is their durability. Unlike regular fluorescent bulbs, whose light output is halved after a year of use, LEDs can be used for many years without replacement, saving even more money.

LEDDY TUBE units are very easy to install. Each model is supplied with special adapters so that they can be mounted on any luminaire. The units draw power from an independent power source. There are four versions of the product: two for freshwater aquariums (LEDDY SUNNY, emitting light with a colour temperature of 6500 K similar to natural sunlight and LEDDY PLANT with a colour temperature of 8000 K, designed to enhance the growth of aquatic plants ) and two for marine aquariums (LEDDY MARINE, which emits light with a colour temperature of 10000 K, designed to improve coral growth, and LEDDY ACTINIC - 20000 K - for more intense colours in corals).

Over time, some of the LEDs installed in a lamp can sometimes fail. AQUAEL has developed an automatic repair system to provide an effective solution to this problem. In the SUNNY version of the LED lamps, if one diode fails, its functions are taken over by the neighbouring diodes, which emit light with increased power. Thanks to this, even after the failure of the individual LED lamps, the lamp continues to work properly and the power and lighting parameters remain unchanged.
