If we do not expose animals to UVB radiation, deficiencies of key nutrients can occur and this can lead to long term health problems.

The fixture is easy to install on glass, with glass thicknesses up to 8 mm. PL lamps have a long lifetime of visible light emission. However, the emission in UV storage is limited, so this lamp should be replaced every 7 to 12 months. Write the date with a marker on the base of the lamp to get a better understanding of when the lamp should be replaced.
