The CLAIRE by D&D Home | I LOVE Happy Cats was designed in collaboration with cat behaviour therapist Anneleen Bru and is the ultimate hunting toy. The 97 cm long telescopic and flexible wand features a 90 cm ribbon teaser, as well as an additional 75 cm cord to which you can attach a shorter ribbon teaser with bells. The bells make this teaser extra fun! When you move CLAIRE, the ribbons swirl playfully in all directions – perfect for stimulating your cat’s natural hunting instinct. CLAIRE is used for the first of the three hunting phases: chasing the prey. The second phase is ‘killing’ the prey, and the third phase is eating it. What is the secret to success? Your cat should not catch the prey too easily. You can move the prey through the air or along the floor. This play challenges your cat physically and helps reduce stress. Always store the CLAIRE wand with its ribbon teaser away after each play session. You can also attach other toys to the CLAIRE wand. HAPPY CATS TIP: Cats enjoy toys that move unpredictably. Pull the ribbons away in small jerky movements and speed up when your cat is about to pounce. Let your cat catch the toy occasionally and then repeat.
