At present, this is the most accurate way to determine the sex of snakes. The kit includes several probes with lengths ranging from 0.5 to 5.5.

If two male snakes are kept in the same terrarium, bloody fights are possible.

Popular snake species commonly found in hobby breeding reproduce readily. Therefore, it is worth determining the sex before purchase and after any hatchlings are born.

Sex probing should not be performed on snakes under 12 months of age. All species of these reptiles can be examined using the probes included in the kit.

The only limitation is the size of the snake being examined, which must not be smaller than 50 cm or larger than 550 cm.

Any adult hobby breeder can easily determine the sex of a snake using the Repti-Zoo probes.
